Development of a formal AT Decision Making Process and documentation process

I have put together a step-by-step AT Decision Making Process based on best practices in the Assistive Technology field.

This plan is being updated with further instructions for incorporating AT needs into language for IEPs.

Ann Arbor is also working with the WISD Assistive Technology Committee to share information regarding the decision making process and assistive technology practices county wide.

Enhanced Standards for Classrooms and Teacher Software Availability

Immediate purchases for specific classroom needs: e.g. Touchscreens, switches, software for self-contained classroom programs

Comprehensive plan: recommendations for all classrooms based on AT Survey feedback, requests for software/ hardware, and observation of needs
